Setup

Required fields

All credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and never displayed in plain text after saving.

Client ID

Intuit Developer Portal → My Apps → your app → Keys and credentials → Production keys → Client ID.

Client Secret

Same page as Client ID. Copy the Client Secret.

Refresh Token

Use the Intuit OAuth 2.0 Playground at developer.intuit.com to generate a refresh token.

Company ID (Realm ID)

Visible in QuickBooks URL: qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage?realmId=XXXXXXXXX.
